ABOUT
Oakridge Taekwon-Do started in 2006 in local school gyms until moving to our current location on Sarnia Road in 2011. The business was built from scratch, and from the heart. We delivered flyers by hand all summer long in order to open that first September with two beginner classes, twice a week.
Over the next 16 years, I and my daughter Emily have worked tirelessly to build the business to where it is today; operating five days a week with classes for all levels and ages. At Oakridge Taekwon-Do we work hard to train and develop our students from white belt all the way through to black belt. At its peak, our dojang operates with over 180 active members. We are associated with TAO Canada which is part of the international group ITF-TAO with representation in countries around the world.
To thank our community for all of the support throughout the years, Oakridge Taekwon-Do gives back to the community throughout the year by sponsoring various girls’ sports teams.
We are proud to have succeeded as a female owned and operated dojang and hope that you will join us on our journey.
